I organized an improv presentation for NW Comedy Club. It was a super success. Charles Ames performed Sharon Dana and Ben Krack. We played a variety of games. This one is word freeze.

NW COMEDY CLUB HALLOWEEN PARTY

Our Toastmasters club, NW Comedy Club had a great Halloween party, complete with costumes and scary speeches. We meet the first Friday of every month at Denny's South Hill Puyallup at 6:30.

BLARNEY STONE

Kissing the Blarney stone may give the kisser the gift of eloquent speaking. However, it isn't east. The kisser has to lay down and lean over backwards. Notice the people 130 feet below the tower?

STORYTELLING

Storytelling at the Puyallup RV show. They created a picnic area with fire ring. It was called S'mores Center. Kids could roast marshmallows and listen to tall tales.

Toastmasters speech contests are a great way to hone your public speaking. Two years ago I never would have gotten in front of a group to speak. Toastmasters has taught me a lot. 

ELFIS AND THE CAMERA

Gramps is always taking pictures of me. After he went to bed, I thought I'd try my hand at the camera. Whoa! It was heavy. I fell over and it pinned me to the table. Good thing Gramps heard all the racket. I'd still be squished under the camera.

RUDOLPH TAKES ELFIS FOR A SPIN

Elfis returned to the North Pole and visited Santa's reindeer. He hopped on Rudolph's back and they romped through the winter wonderland. Rudolph got some great practice for Christmas Eve. He didn't get off the ground, tho. He needs to lose some weight. (Like the rest of us.)

POWELLSWOOD STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

I volunteered at Powellswood Storytelling festival and met the best national storyteller, Donald Davis. Also met an international storyteller, Margaret McDonald. The beautiful gardens was the perfect setting for storytelling.

SINGING SASQUATCH

A humorous collection of Sasquatch short stories. Larry tags along with Bigfoot chasers and discovers the real truth. But...he doesn't tell them and adds to the mystery.

I was just elected Toastmasters Secretary at Puyallup Valley Voices. I also received the Competent Communicator award by completing ten speeches in the CC manual. My public speaking has improved tremendously. Thank you fellow Toastmasters for assisting me on my journey.

Evil Fish has over a dozen short stories about fishing for saltwater and freshwater fish. The settings are in several places in the Pacific Northwest. This book is a must for the angler in your life.
