Here is the view of Mt Rainier from our house. Forest fires have been so bad that they
obscure our view. Hopefully we get some rain to wash away the smoke.

FOREST FIRES
ELHI HILL FOREST FIRE 9/9/2020
A fire broke out near the winery on Elhi hill. With a strong N wind, it quickly spread
up the hill and toward Bonney Lake. Firemen expertly kept it from spreading past
Sky Island Drive. Bonney Lake dodged a bullet this time. Many houses could have burned.
